Welcome!

Since I have been home in the Burg with my folks doing my stint of waiting, I have had a lot of time on my hands!  This means I default to my hobbies which get very inspired by watching the Food Network and Hallmark Channel a lot with Mom.

I was itching to do some creative things while I was away in England and took every opportunity to get in the kitchen there.  It was hard to be out of my own cooking space and away from my regular crafting with Stampin' Up and my friend Catherine Pooler.  My saving grace was my mad cooking "little sister" Lisa, from Sweden, who did lots of baking and gave me the job of menu planner and food shopper while our team was away on Outreach in Romania and Hampshire, England.  That and our adventures to have proper teas or fickas (Swedish coffee break) wherever we were.  There is just something about being in a tea room or little cafe that makes you feel warm and happy.  Ah, the simple joys of life!

I want to share some of the fun recipes and cooking experiments that I have been getting myself into...and maybe a few other fun projects as well.  A tried and true recipe is the best kind so stay tuned to see what I am cooking next and hopefully get inspired to get into it up to your elbows too!

Yumalicious Dishes!
